Maui October 28, 2014

On Tuesday 28 October we decided to explore the beaches on the Kaanapali Coast of Maui. We were able to find Mokuleia Bay and Slaughterhouse Beach which we accessed via a steep, long staircase down the cliff from the road. Beautiful uncrowded beach.

Great find of an uncrowded beautiful beach on Maui.

Cardinal looking bird, sort of, on Slaughter House Beach.

Karen on the beach.

These birds were quite common on the beach.

After a pleasant, relaxing day at Slaughter House Beach, we made a quick stop at D. T. Fleming Beach Park to change clothes for dinner. We then proceeded to Napili Bay and the Seahouse Restaurant. Happy Hour appetizers at the Seahouse served as dinner. Beautiful setting eating outside on Napili Bay. After dinner we headed back to the Papakea Resort and watched another great Maui sunset.

Jenna did share that dessert.
